Plunge-cut roll converting. Without rewinding.
All cutting and converting happens at our Etobicoke, ON facility, using a specialized process that leaves the mill's original wind tension and quality intact. We convert printing and brown rolls, good inventory and water-damaged inventory alike.
- Converts and finishes rolls up to 135″ wide by 84″ in diameter
- Parent rolls larger than 135″ can be divided into multiples
- Preserves mill wind tension, not a conventional slitter
- Handles good and water-damaged inventory

Plunge-Cut Converting, In-House
Our plunge cutter converts one roll into two or more, or divides for broke, done entirely at our Etobicoke facility.

Fibercore Onsite Paper Services (OPS) Ltd. extends the converting process built by Fibercore OPS, founded in 1989 out of Tullahoma, Tennessee, to mills and converters across Ontario, from our own facility in Etobicoke. Same equipment, same process, closer to home.
